HACCP and UV lights are tested methods to ensure food safety
Food safety is the number One concern for food manufacturers, supermarkets, restaurants and the hospitality industry.
Companies like Chipotle Mexican Grill in the USA, got very bad publicity several months back, when there was an outbreak of E.coli at some of their restaurants. As a result, they lost many customers and their share price plummeted. They were quick to act, but the damage had already been done.
If you’re in the food business you can never get complacent about food safety
So how does one effectively reduce the risk of bacterial outbreaks in food processing and retail outlets? THOROUGH DAILY CLEANLINESS WITH ANTI-BACTERIAL CLEANING METHODS.
The majority of food processing factories, supermarkets, butcheries, bakeries, restaurants and hotels rely on manual labour to clean the visible dirt. Often, expensive “anti-bacterial” detergents and chemicals are used. Some more effective than others, but irrespective, they are generally expensive. Bacteria however are everywhere, not only in visible areas, but also in hard to access spots. HACCP (Hazardous Analysis for Critical Control Points) helps to identify specific critical points that need addressing.
Drysteam technology and UV lights have been proven to effectively kill 99.87% of all known germs and #bacteria. Drysteam at 170 Degrees Centigrade kills most pathogens on impact and it reaches hard to access spots. The Blue Evolution Drysteam cleaning machine generates Dry steam at up to 180 Degrees Centigrade.
In addition its waste tank is equipped with a patented UV light system to finish off any remaining pathogens.
Boeing recently announced that their engineers and designers have built a prototype lavatory that uses ultraviolet (UV) light to kill 99.99 percent of pathogens, thus sanitizing all the lavatory surfaces. Combined with touchless faucets, soap dispensers and more, the lavatory of the future could make for a more hygienic, less worrisome experience.

The Blue Evolution Drysteam Supreme Cleaning machine is #HACCP certified. It uses no detergents or #sanitizers, only water. In addition, other than savings in the cost of detergents it also saves water, using only 90ml/min. in dry steam mode.
