This is what the CoronaVirus (COVID-19) that originated in Wuhan, China, in December 2019, looks like

Photo of What Corona Virus look like
Doesn’t look too menacing does it? Not under a microscope it doesn’t but the ramifications so far are very concerning.
The fatality ratio of those contracting the Corona Virus is around 2-3% . When compared to the common flu with a 1% fatality, it doesn’t sound so bad. Its still early days though and only time will tell.
In the early 2000’s it was SARS, then Ebola and now its Corona Virus. What’s tomorrow?
All of the above viruses are zoonotic, meaning they are transmitted between animals and people. SARS for example was found to have been transmitted from Civet Cats to humans.
The current story doing the rounds as to the origin of Corona Virus, is that it started at a Seafood Market is Wuhan, where other animals (live and slaughtered) are also sold.
Whatever the origins or reason, Corona Virus will not be the last of the new dangerous viruses making their unexpected appearance in this World of ours. As animals and humans encroach on each other’s space, it is bound to happen.
The German Engineered Blue Evolution Drysteam Machine decontaminating public areas in companies and hospital in Wuhan, China, the epicentre of the COVID-19 CoronaVirus. Dozens of machines supplied to China to help combat the spread
Super Bugs are now prevalent in many hospitals around the World. These antibiotic resistant bacteria continue to kill many people.
A lot of the above can of course he halted or slowed down through continuous education around hygiene best practices. Washing our hands regularly with soap and cleaning common areas with detergent or drysteam, covering our mouth and noses when coughing or sneezing, and avoiding contact with anyone showing signs of flu type illnesses such as coughing and sneezing. Food such as meat and eggs should be thoroughly cooked.
Drysteam Cleaning machines have made huge strides in the fight to kill harmful bacteria, both on surfaces and airborne.

Drysteam kills 99.8% of known bacteria
Corona Virus can spread from person-to-person in close contact (up to 2 metres). Its spead mainly via respiratory droplets (i.e. coughs or sneezes) similar to the common flu. These droplets can stay airborne for several minutes and could possibly be inhaled by people in close proximity. They can also drop on surfaces that may be touched by others and who then touch their mouth , noses or eyes.
The Blue Evolution Drysteam machine combats both surface bound and airborne germs. Drysteam at a temperature of 170 Degrees Celsius can be directed at all affected areas killing most germs on contact. Drysteam combined with Deep extraction mode cleans and sanitises all surfaces as illustrated in this video.
In addition, the patented UV light underneath the waste tank will kill any remaining bacteria.
So, if Drysteam and the UV light get rid of most surface based germs and potential viruses, what about the airborne kind? Well, the German Engineered and Italian designed Blue Evolution Drysteam machine also has a HEPA “High Efficiency Particulate Air” filter.
HEPA filters are highly effective at removing ultra fine particles in the air such as dust, pollen, mould and other common allergens. The industry standard for a HEPA filter is that it must be able to remove at least 99.97% of particulates measuring 0.3 micron diameter in a lab setting, That means that it can filter out some airborne bacteria and virus.
The Blue Evolution Drysteam machine is therefore a necessary tool to help control the spread of viruses and superbugs in public areas such as hotels, toilets, canteens, ambulances, gymnasiums and kitchens, hospitals. The same applies to food processing plants. Remember the Listeriosis outbreak in South Africa in 2017-2018?
Every hospital, clinic or medical care centre should be equipped with a Drysteam Cleaning machine. Detergents and chemicals alone will not be fully effective in the near future.
The question is… are managers of these public and communal facilities really committed to reducing the risk of a future rampant Super Bug or Killer Virus? If so, then why is there always a big panic, only after the fact? Surely preparedness and prevention is the way forward?
Only time will tell as to whom is best prepared for when the next Big Virus hits.
